Why is healing important?
Repressing emotions and experiences doesn’t guarantee that it goes away. Most times, it just continues to bottle up inside us and eventually we explode. This leads to further trauma and negative experiences. Next thing you know, you are stuck in a cycle. Healing means addressing EVERYTHING. And when we do that, we transform.

What's the difference between healing and self-care?
Though these two concepts are closely related, they are not exclusive. Self-care is more of a tool to support your healing. But this only works if your self-care is healthy. If it’s not, it can become detrimental to your journey. Healing refers to an overall shift in the role you play in your life and the reality you experience.
